This groundbreaking project was brought to life with the expertise and dedication of Speight Marshall Francis, who served as the Structural Engineer of Record and Special Inspector for this extraordinary park situated on the southern oceanfront of Virginia Beach. We also designed the supporting storage and restroom facility – all with one vision in mind: inclusivity.
JT's Grommet Island stands as a testament to the belief that recreation and enjoyment should be open to absolutely everyone. No longer do physical limitations need to hinder beachgoers from experiencing the joys of the coast. With the facility's slogan proudly declaring "For EveryBODY," it is truly a place where everyone can indulge in the seaside bliss.
