Gilbert Street Mixed-Use Facility includes office and retail space, roof top amenity and parking. 

Served as Structural Engineer of Record for the design/build of a 6-level mixed-use facility for Virginia Tech Foundation. The project features plentiful outdoor space with a welcoming public porch and a rooftop bar venue with views of Virginia Tech's campus and the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains.

The first level is a 124-space parking garage below grade. The above 5 levels incorporate 30,000 sf of retail space, 200,000 sf of office space, and a rooftop amenity (235,700 sf total). An attached 72-space parking deck is also included in the project as well as all retaining walls that are part of the building and covered parking, Construction Documents were completed using REVIT BIM software.
