An Achievable Dream School
An Achievable Dream was founded to give students who are at risk of failure due to multiple social factors a chance to succeed.
Our team renovated the existing Briarfield Elementary School to transform it into a middle and high school for An Achievable Dream participants. In addition to 57,000 square feet of renovated classrooms, administrative areas, and additional spaces, the school boasts a new media center, large multi-purpose room, and gymnasium. A new facade welcomes students as they arrive, and new windows and roofing throughout the school complete the transformation from an outdated elementary school to a modern center of learning.
Our team also designed a new tennis facility and a one-story locker building for An Achievable Dream, a collaborative project between Newport News Public Schools and the City of Newport News. Through tennis, the facility allows students the opportunity to not only learn a sports skill but to improve their entire person through character development and discipline.
